What happens when a Computer Geek challenges a Medieval Outlaw?

PETIR TAKES A ROUGH TUMBLE IN THE CONNECTICUT WOODS, and awakens in the middle of old England. His instinct to freak out is tempered by the arrival of a fair maiden wearing a bow… and arrow. In his college world, fair maiden types don’t ordinarily go for computer geek types, but for some reason he is no longer in his world. Petir is fairly certain he can try whatever he wants without consequence.

WITH THE CONFLICT BETWEEN THE ROYALS ESCALATING, MAID RIANNE has joined the outlaws hiding in the woods, outwardly defying the handsome and accomplished knight to whom she is promised. She is fairly certain she is simply flattered by Lord Petir’s uncensored admiration of her skills with the staff and bow, the same unmaidenly pursuits disdained by her knight. But, that doesn’t explain her reaction to Lord Petir’s unguarded gaze.

TO PETIR’S DELIGHT, AND MAID RIANNE’S DISMAY, the outlaws invite him to join their merry band. What better way to get close to her? Throwing caution to the wind, Petir decides he has nothing to lose by pursuing Maid Rianne, until  she is captured by the enemy. Now, a geek with no ability to defend himself must find a way to rescue the fair maiden.

Praise for Fairly Certain

“Adorably romantic!” An absolutely fun, adorable, romantic read that will thoroughly entertain you, no ifs, ands, or buts! The plot wa extremely unique and I l-o-v-e-d just how unusual it was. It was thoughtfully planned out and written with a smooth glide, seemingly effortless on the author’s part. The ending was surprisingly unexpected and I’m thinking I really, really like this new-to-me-author, Ms. Deborah Ann Davis! I’m already anxiously awaiting her next book. Don’t miss Fairly Certain or I’m completely certain you’ll be upset you did! Review by bookshellz

“Female Robin Hood?”   I gave this five stars because I just loved it. Especially the way Deborah brought the story to conclusion…My hats off to Deborah for pulling this story off in such good fashion. Review bA. G. Moye

“Entertaining, Funny and Action Packed”      Wow! This book is full of action and oh my gosh moments that have you cheering for Petir and Maid Rainne. This author sure can grab you… entertaining, funny and action packed. I loved the fairytale ease of it and the way Petir (the Geek) falls for Maid Rainne. Great story, would love to read more by this author. Review by Nanee at upallnightreadallday.blogspot.com

“Quick Wit and Humorous Turn of Phrase ”    Every so often, one’s mind requires a break from all those front-page news’ events. This book was the perfect antidote! The author displayed a quick wit and humorous turn of phrase. I look forward to reading other future books by Davis. Review by Porthaul on Amazon

“Fun read!”      An amusing modern take on the Robin Hood/Maid Marion classic. Ms. Davis employs wit and a knowledge of young adults that obviously comes from her years of teaching said age group. Fun read! Review by Betsy R on Amazon.

“Enchanting”      Whimsical tale of Robin Hood turned upside down… I’m Fairly Certain this story will entertain you! Review by Richard Lang on Goodreads.

“Will Make You Smile, Laugh and Believe In Love”      Characters are well developed, humorous, and vividly depicted… Although this story takes place in two different time periods they manage to intertwine… I am Fairly Certain, this book will make you smile, laugh and believe in love. Review by Fran Lewis, Reviewer and Author and Radio Talk Show Host
